Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club was formed from humble beginnings in 1953 with just 8 founding members. It has grown to a membership base in excess of 1,000 members with half of those being under the age of 14.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club has a proud history in Surf Sport competitions in both the Junior and Senior Championships.

During the busy beach season from October to March, you will find the members patrolling the beaches ensuring that members of the public who come to enjoy the beach at Trigg remain safe in and around the water.

The well-equipped club house was built in 1993 by the city of Stirling with the aid of a Federal Government Grant.

The club house offering members a sheltered courtyard, open modern room,
BBQ facilities & a bar.

A separate gear shed provides storage for the clubs equipment along with racks for members to conveniently store their own privately owned boards and ski’s.

A gym equipped with strength and cardio training equipment is also located in the gear shed.

Change Rooms with showers for both Male and Female are also located in the gear shed.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club rooms can be hired for events such as:

• Anniversaries
• Birthday parties (with the exception of 16th, 18th and 21st)
• Christenings
• Christmas parties
• Corporate Dinners
• Corporate Events
• Engagements

The venue can cater for 250 people in a cocktail style, or 150 people for sit down dinners.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club has a fully licensed bar opening onto a courtyard with uninterrupted views of the Indian ocean.
